Cancellation Policy
How to cancel or reschedule a Worbour booking — and what happens to your payment when you do.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Introduction
This policy explains how cancellations work on Worbour — when you can cancel, what happens once a professional is assigned, and how the paid amount comes back to you. Cancellations and refunds go hand in hand; the refund side is described in the Return & Refund Policy.
2. Cancellation by Customer
You can cancel a booking yourself from My Bookings while its status is Confirmed or Scheduled. The cancellation takes effect immediately, and any paid amount is credited back to your Worbour wallet automatically — you will see the credit on your wallet statement right away.
3. Cancellation Before Service Confirmation
A booking only becomes binding once payment succeeds and you receive a booking ID (BKG-…). Before that — while you are still choosing a service, entering details or adding money to your wallet — there is nothing to cancel and nothing is owed. You can leave the booking flow at any point.
4. Cancellation After Provider Assignment
Once a professional is assigned, you can still cancel until the work is completed. Please cancel as early as you can — the professional has reserved that slot for you, and a late cancellation wastes it. Any refund adjustment in this situation follows the booking conditions shown at confirmation.
5. Last-Minute Cancellation
Cancelling when the professional is already on the way, or after the slot has started, is discouraged — that reserved time can no longer be offered to anyone else. Last-minute cancellation remains possible from My Bookings until the booking is marked completed; if anything prevents you from cancelling there, contact support with your booking ID.
6. Provider Cancellation
If a professional cancels an assigned booking, or Worbour has to withdraw one, you are informed promptly. The booking is either reassigned to another professional or cancelled at your choice — with the full amount credited back to your wallet if no replacement is arranged.
7. Rescheduling
Plans change — rescheduling is usually better than cancelling. Upcoming bookings can be rescheduled from My Bookings: pick a new date or time slot and confirm. Changes depend on availability, and Worbour does not charge a fee for rescheduling today.
8. Refund Eligibility
Any applicable refund is credited to your Worbour wallet and processed according to the payment method and the applicable cancellation terms. Full eligibility rules, processing details and non-refundable charges are described in the Return & Refund Policy.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
Where a cancellation is caused by something outside your control — severe weather, a personal emergency, or a service that cannot be delivered — contact support with your booking ID. We review each case fairly and credit the wallet where the circumstances warrant it.
10. How to Request a Cancellation
Most cancellations need no request at all: open My Bookings, select the booking and cancel — the wallet credit is automatic. If you cannot cancel from there, for example because the status has changed, contact support with your booking ID and we will assist.
