Terms & Conditions
The ground rules for using the Worbour platform — for customers booking services and professionals offering them.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Worbour. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Worbour website and services. By browsing the site, creating an account or booking a service you agree to these terms.
Worbour is a platform that connects customers with independent home-service professionals. We verify professionals, manage bookings and payments, and support both sides — but the professionals themselves perform the services.
2. Definitions
- "Worbour", "we", "us", "our" — the Worbour platform and its operators.
- "Customer", "you" — a person who books services through Worbour.
- "Provider" or "professional" — an independent professional onboarded on Worbour to perform services.
- "Booking" — a confirmed request for a specific service, date, time slot and address.
- "Wallet" — the Worbour wallet balance used to pay for bookings and receive refunds.
3. Eligibility
Customers must be able to form a binding contract — in practice this means adults booking services for their own home or with the owner's permission. Providers are onboarded only after verification by the Worbour team.
4. Account Registration
To book, you create an account with your mobile number, verified securely — no email address or password is required. You are responsible for protecting access to your account and for all activity under it. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
Guests can start a booking without an account — a verified mobile number is still required before the booking is confirmed, and an account is created for the booking to live in.
5. Using the Worbour Platform
The platform lets you browse services, see pricing, check availability and book a professional for your home. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in line with the conduct rules below.
6. Service Discovery
Services are organised as main service categories (such as Plumber or Cleaning) with sub-services underneath. Search, the services page and quick-view panels help you find the right service; prices are shown on each service card.
7. Service Booking
When you book, you choose the service, date, time slot and service address, and confirm the price shown. The booking is recorded with a unique ID and visible in your account. Full details are described in our Booking Policy.
8. Service Providers
Providers are independent professionals. Worbour verifies providers, maintains their profiles and skills, and assigns bookings based on the service and the professional's skills. Each provider is responsible for the quality and completeness of the work they perform.
9. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer you agree to provide accurate booking information, be available at the chosen address during the slot, treat professionals respectfully, and pay for services booked. The detailed expectations are set out in our Customer Policy.
10. Provider Responsibilities
Providers agree to keep their profile and skills accurate, honour assigned bookings, deliver services professionally and safely, and respect customer property and privacy. Provider-specific rules are set out in the Provider Terms & Conditions.
11. Pricing
Each service displays its price on the site. Where a service shows "Price on request", the final price is communicated before you confirm the booking. Valid coupons are applied at confirmation and the discount is shown before you confirm. Prices include what the booking summary displays — there are no hidden charges added later.
12. Payments
Bookings are paid through the Worbour wallet: the amount is debited when the booking is confirmed and recorded on your wallet statement. Cancellations credit the amount back to your wallet. Details are described in our Payment Policy.
13. Booking Confirmation
A booking becomes confirmed once payment succeeds. You receive a confirmation with your booking ID, and the booking appears in "My Bookings" with its current status. A booking is not confirmed until payment succeeds.
14. Cancellation
You can cancel confirmed or scheduled bookings from My Bookings; paid amounts are credited back to your wallet. Completed and already-cancelled bookings cannot be cancelled. Refund handling is described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
15. Rescheduling
You can request a new date or slot for an upcoming booking from My Bookings. Changes depend on slot availability, and we confirm the new schedule in your booking details.
16. Service Availability
Services are offered subject to professional availability in your city and on your chosen date and slot. We show availability during booking, and if something changes after booking we will inform you and offer alternatives or cancellation with a wallet refund.
17. User Conduct
- Do not provide false information in your account, bookings or support messages.
- Do not misuse, damage or endanger professionals or their equipment.
- Do not book services for unlawful purposes.
- Do not attempt to pay outside the platform or manipulate prices or coupons.
- Do not interfere with the platform's operation, scrape it, or attempt unauthorised access.
18. Reviews and Ratings
After a booking is completed you can rate and review the professional. Reviews must be honest and based on your actual experience. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent or unrelated to the service.
19. Intellectual Property
The Worbour name, logo, site design, text and code are owned by Worbour or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except for normal personal use of the platform.
20. Third-Party Services
The site links to third-party pages such as app stores, maps and social media. Those services run under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
21. Platform Availability
We work to keep Worbour available around the clock, but the platform may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. During downtime new bookings may be delayed; existing bookings remain valid.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Worbour is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
23. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Worbour against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or information you provide that is false or misleading.
24. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraud, or harm the platform or its users. If your account is terminated for breach, amounts already paid for unperformed bookings will be credited back to your wallet.
You can stop using Worbour at any time and ask us to delete your account, subject to record-keeping for completed transactions.
25. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The "Last Updated" date above shows the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
26. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Worbour's registered place of business. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
