Payment Policy
How payments work on Worbour — the wallet, booking charges, refunds and your payment records.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Introduction
This policy explains how money moves on Worbour. Bookings are paid through the Worbour wallet — a balance you keep in your Worbour account — and every entry is recorded on your wallet statement.
2. The Worbour Wallet
Your wallet holds the balance available for bookings. You can add money from the Payments & Wallet page (between ₹100 and ₹10,000 per top-up today), and the balance and full transaction history are always visible there.
3. Supported Payment Methods
Bookings can be paid from your Worbour wallet or by cash after service where offered. When Razorpay is configured, wallet top-ups are collected through Razorpay Checkout and credited only after payment capture is verified. Top-ups are subject to the available amount limits shown at checkout.
There is no cash-on-delivery option: paying through the platform keeps your booking, receipt and refund protected in one place.
4. Payment Confirmation
When you confirm a booking, the payable amount (service price minus any coupon discount) is debited from your wallet and the booking's payment status becomes Paid. A wallet transaction with the booking ID is recorded, and you can download the invoice for completed bookings.
5. Failed Transactions
If a booking cannot be paid — for example insufficient balance — it is not confirmed, and you are prompted to add money or adjust the booking. A failed attempt never leaves a stray charge; if your statement ever looks wrong, contact support.
6. Duplicate Transactions
Charged twice for one booking? Report it with the booking ID and the duplicate amount is credited back to your wallet after verification.
7. Refund Processing
Cancellations credit the paid amount back to your wallet automatically; the entry appears on your statement with the booking ID as reference. Support-handled refunds (duplicates, corrections) are credited after review. Details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Payment Security
Wallet transactions run server-side against your signed-in account, protected by session security and CSRF tokens on every form. Your wallet statement is visible only when signed in as you. We never ask for your password, and Worbour staff never need your wallet details to help you.
9. Transaction Disputes
Dispute any transaction from the support page with your booking or transaction ID. We review the wallet ledger and booking records and respond with the outcome; you can follow your request through your support tickets.
