Provider Terms & Conditions
The rules professionals agree to when offering services through Worbour — verification, jobs, quality and payments.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
1. Introduction
These terms apply to professionals who register on Worbour to provide home services. They form part of the Worbour Terms & Conditions and apply alongside them. Where these terms say "we", it means Worbour.
2. Provider Registration
Providers sign up with their name, mobile number, email and city through the partner sign-up. The Worbour team verifies providers before their profile goes live — this is how the platform keeps customers safe.
3. Verification & Profile
Keep your profile accurate: your name, contact details, city, services and the sub-services you actually perform. Your skills are selected from the live service catalogue, and bookings are only assigned for services matching your skills. Misrepresenting skills or identity leads to removal from the platform.
4. Availability & Accepting Jobs
Assigned jobs appear on your jobs page with the service, date, slot and address. Accept the jobs you can genuinely perform, and keep your availability honest. Repeatedly declining or ignoring assigned jobs reduces the jobs you are offered.
5. Completing Jobs
Arrive within the booked slot, perform the service professionally and safely, and keep the customer informed. Start and complete the job from your jobs page so the customer and the Worbour team see accurate status.
6. Customer Interaction
Treat customers and their homes with respect. Confirm the scope of work before starting if it differs from the booking. Do not ask customers for payments or tips outside the platform, and never request information you do not need for the job.
7. Pricing & Earnings
Services are priced by Worbour and shown to customers at booking. Your earnings for completed jobs are tracked on your earnings page. Worbour does not publish a commission structure today; if a platform fee is ever introduced, it will be communicated to providers before it applies.
8. Payment Settlement
Payments for bookings are collected from customers through the Worbour wallet. Earnings for completed jobs are settled to providers according to the current settlement process, and are visible on your earnings page. Questions about settlements go through provider support.
9. Cancellations & No-Shows
If you cannot make an assigned job, decline or cancel it as early as possible so a replacement can be arranged — a no-show without notice is a serious breach and can lead to suspension. Repeated cancellations reduce future job assignments.
10. Quality Expectations
Perform services with professional workmanship, appropriate tools and materials, and care for the customer's property. Clean up after the job. Consistent poor quality or safety issues lead to removal from the platform.
11. Reviews
Customers rate and review your work after completion. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences; soliciting fake reviews or pressuring customers to change ratings is prohibited and affects your standing.
12. Customer Information & Confidentiality
You receive booking details — service, date, slot, address and the customer's contact name/number — strictly to perform the booking. Do not share customer information with anyone else, do not contact customers for unrelated purposes, and do not solicit them for off-platform work. Confidentiality continues after a job ends.
13. Prohibited Conduct
- Taking payments outside the platform or inflating agreed prices on site.
- Sharing or misusing customer information.
- Subcontracting assigned jobs without approval.
- Unsafe work, damage to customer property, or misrepresenting skills.
- Attempting to manipulate reviews, ratings or job assignment.
14. Account Suspension & Termination
Accounts may be suspended or removed for breaches of these terms — repeated cancellations or no-shows, quality failures, fraud, or misuse of customer data. Pending settlements for honestly completed jobs are not forfeited by a suspension; fraudulent activity forfeits the related earnings.
15. Dispute Resolution
Job disputes — with customers or about settlements — are raised through provider support. We review booking records, status updates and messages from both sides and decide a fair outcome. Decisions about platform access rest with Worbour.
